The vessel is created from fine grade Australian sand, selected for its clarity, weight and ability to display an intense hue. The bottom of each bears the artist’s initials, and every bowl is hand-tinted, making each one unique.
The candles are comprised of a patented blend of high-grade European waxes, this formula not only burns cleaner than any other candle, it also houses the delicately balanced essential oils without altering their fragile character.
The wax that is used has been specifically designed to have a low melting temperature, thereby yielding a greater liquefied surface area by which to better release the fragrance held within.
All wicks are hand-braided cotton and lead-free. d.l. & co. recommends that a ¼ inch wick be maintained on its candles for best results.
