The single silver thread found on Alt-Faden originated around 1760. The thread is repeated on the reverse, opening out into a shell.

Clean bevels define the handles and impart a special brilliance to the set.

Alt-Kopenhagen has its origin in a design from 1874, the year in which the silverwors were founded. Each individual item of cutlery
bears an ornately impressed filigree engraving.
